Converting throttle pedal to hanging   All to do to change pedal to hanging type is:- 1. Remove Cable from Pedal, 2. Unbolt pedal from car floor, Slide off RHS of Metal drop pedal. 3. Now you are left with a drop pedal on the car with a useful 90 degree bend at the end. 4. Have a good look at the angle a made up plate will need to go at and scribe the end of the pedal rod. 5. Remove pedal from bulkhead and weld the small plate (30mm X 40 mm by about 2mm thick) to the shaft - following your line for the angle. A couple of good spot welds is fine for this. 6. Buy some good quality pedal plates - You know, all the Kevs in Escorts buy them. I bought some Black "GP Pedals" for £19 from local accessory shop 7. Mark up where the holes need to be for these and drill the plate on the accelerator. 8. Give this a good coat of Black Spray. 9. Re fit to the car. 10. Drill and fit Clutch and Brake Plates to match.This can be done in situ. 11. Adjust throttle cable. Total time for the job was 2 hrs including watching the paint dry!!!
